How to Use Your Khatmak Stamp
Welcome to your Khatmk experience! Follow these simple steps to make the most of your customizable name stamp.
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Ensure the surface is clean and dry before stamping.
Suitable surfaces include:
Fabric: for clothes, shoes, socks, bags, pencil cases etc... Use on smooth fabrics for the best results.
Plastic: Works great on lunchboxes, water bottles, or stationery items.
Steel: Perfect for labeling utensils or other metallic school essentials.
Step 2: Test Your Stamp
Before stamping on the final item, test your Khatmk stamp on a scrap piece of paper or fabric.Check for the desired alignment and clarity.
Step 3: Apply the Stamp
Press the stamp firmly onto the surface. Hold steady for 2–3 seconds, ensuring even pressure across the design.
Step 4: Let It Dry
Allow the stamped area to dry for 3–5 minutes before handling to prevent smudging.
Step 5: Care Tips for Long-Lasting Marks
Fabric: Wait 24 to 48 hours after stamping before washing. Stamps hold up to 20 washes under normal conditions.
Plastic & Steel: Allow the stamp to set for 48 to 72 hours before washing or handling excessively. Wipe gently to preserve the stamp design.
Tips for Best Results
If Using Black Fabric Ink, avoid stamping on textured or very dark surfaces for optimal visibility.For frequent use, keep the stamp stored in its protective case.Re-ink when the impression begins to fade.
Troubleshooting
Stamp appears faint: Re-ink the stamp pad.
Smudging: Ensure the surface is completely dry and avoid touching immediately after stamping.
